Ms. Caroline Fernandez - Grade 7
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one." -George R.R. Martin
Dear Notre Dame students and families,
I am thrilled to begin my third year at Notre Dame Academy! I teach seventh and eighth grade Reading and Language Arts, as well as Religion for 7A. I also help run the Writing Club with Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Guthrie, and I teach the 8th grade Language Arts COOP test prep class during the first trimester.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Seton Hall University. I did my student teaching in tenth grade English, and I have previously taught seventh grade Language Arts. In addition, I worked as a substitute teacher for grades 5-12 in all subjects- even art and gym!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. The best way to reach me is through my email, email@example.com. You can also call the school office at (201) 947-5262, or you can send in a note.
If you would like to see what we are currently learning about in Reading/Language Arts or Religion, check out the "What's Happening in Room 10?" tab on the left sidebar of this page!
Students: I am available every day before and after school for extra help by appointment. I am also available during recess on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Please let me know if you would like to come in during any of those times, and do not hesitate to ask for help!
Let's have a fantastic year!
