Hello, my name is Ms. Loredana Altamura. I am the VIce Principal at Notre Dame Academy and teach Science for 5th and 6th grade as well. I am so happy to be part of the Notre Dame family. I have been at Notre Dame for 10 years, and have been teaching at various levels of education for 27 years.
As Vice Principal, I am looking forward to building community among the students and using our virtues to create and support a positive learning experience for our students, where they can be academically challenged, feel welcome and become a more well rounded student.
Teaching is my passion. I love science and hope your children will love it too. Science is all about curious minds asking questions, investigating, and collecting data to make conclusions. I cannot wait to work with all the classes on STEM projects and see the amazing things they create and discover.
My goal for this year is to get every student to love learning as much as I do. Knowledge is power. The harder they work the more they will succeed. I am beyond excited to share my love of learing with your children.
I am looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year and hope that your children have a great year!
