Grade 7B

Hi and welcome to Mrs. Vasil's page... I am super excited to join the Notre Dame Academy family of staff, parents, and students this year. I will be your child's 7th and 8th grade Science teacher as well as teaching Religion to my 7B homeroom :)

I have been teaching Science for over 25 years and still get excited to introduce content and fun labs to my students. Between chemical reactions to how the human body functions along with what Our creator, God has blessed the world with, it has always intrigued me.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Caldwell University and later further my studies at New Jersey City State University receiving a teaching certification.  I have practically taught every grade from Pre-K to high-school students. Stem is one of my passions in teaching and getting the students to think outside of the box.
Another big passion of mine is the Arts. I am a seasoned artist in painting, design, color theory and other media. I had a successful business as an Event designer and muralist. This year, I would love to start an Art club at Notre Dame, so I'm super excited to show you that part of me. You can always find me with my coffee mug and glasses on my head :)
Another big part of me is being a basketball wife for the past 35 years.. I assure you both myself and husband will be attending games this year :)
