There is an emphasis on developing a firm academic foundation and a love of learning. All subject areas are taught in a self-contained environment.
Religious instruction continues the study of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Catholic Church and the sacraments.
Reading and Language Arts are presented as an integrated curriculum. This uses age appropriate literature to enhance reading comprehension, oral language development, phonics skills, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, writing activities and penmanship.
Mathematics reinforces number sense, problem solving, pre-algebraic reasoning, geometry and measurement.
Social Studies focuses on families, homes, communities, holiday celebrations and map skills.
The Science program teaches the awareness of growth and change, particularly in plants and animals. Students also learn the scientific method and Physical, Earth, and Life Science.
Weekly Peace Education class focuses on teaching our young scholars to live through the Virtues and develops interpersonal skills in the areas of conflict resolution and anger management at an age appropriate level.
